With regard to working practice Hilda has developed her own niche. She works on a consultancy basis offering independent advice with fees not related to overall spend. She enjoys both the challenge of the commercial brief and the free rein of bigger one-off projects where she will often define the scope of design and deliver the result. It is rare that a brief is reworked or decisions revised, as Hilda is usually instructed because of her passionate interest in colour and fabric, incisive grasp of brief and professionalism in getting it “right first time”.
